We’ve got a good batch of early games to enjoy this week, including eight on Wednesday.
The games from the Detroit-Cleveland series all start at 23.10 BST so they slip under the pre-midnight cut-off, but aren’t quite as convenient to watch as the ‘early’ game designation normally means.
Wednesday is packed full of interesting match-ups at a good time for us in the UK to watch. The games include one from the Cubs-Pirates series, Stephen Strasburg taking on the Kansas City Royals, and Felix Hernandez matching up against Oakland A’s rookie Sean Manaea in what will be the latter’s second MLB start (accepting the usual caveat that starting pitchers are always subject to change depending on postponements etc).
The working week ends with an early Friday game from Wrigley Field for the second week running. This time it’s the Nationals that are in Chicago for what should be an excellent weekend series.
All times are in BST.
