There were a bunch of closely contested matchups during week four of the BaseballGB Fantasy League. Read on to find out which teams managed to grind out a result.

The Riverkings were the big winners this week, defeating the RBIs 7-2. Piscotty and Abreu each drove in six and helped take average and OPS. Kershaw struck out 14 and helped take ERA and WHIP and Neris had two holds and a save. A Rod homered twice for the RBIs, while Arrieta and Madson had a win each.

The Lollygaggers keep on rolling with a 7-4 win against the Bombers. The pitchers fell a hold shy of a sweep, with Kennedy picking up a win, Wood and Wacha each striking out nine, Shields and Nelson helping take ERA ans WHIP and K-Rod collecting three saves. Parra knocked in six while Hamilton and Burns swiped three bases each. Polanco, Conforton and Hosmer helped The Bombers take runs, homers, average and OPS.

The Sox defeated the Chasers 7-5. Miguel Cabrera led the team with three homers while Kemp, Ozuna, Seager and Walker, who knocked in seven, each homered twice. Zimmermann had two wins and Papelbon a save on a depleted pitching staff, with Hellickson helping to take ERA and WHIP. Bogaerts gave the Chasers the edge in runs, steals and average. Lester and Quintana each struck out 10 and Dyson had the only hold.

The Slugs edged past the Knights 6-5 as the pitchers took five categories. Bumgarner led the staff with two wins and 16 strikeouts, while Lackey, Archer, Odorizzi and deGrom helped take ERA and WHIP. Kipnis led the team with seven RBIs. The Knights had two saves from Colome, while Desmond scored seven runs and Arenado homered four times, drove in eight and joined Ortiz in taking average and OPS.

Another matchup, another 6-5 as Jesmond squeezed past the Maltsters. Realmuto, Dozier and Upton each scored five runs while Stanton mashed four homers and knocked in nine. Ramos had three saves while Nola, Joe Ross and Hendricks helped take ERA and WHIP. For the Maltsters, Eaton had two steals while Hazelbaker and Drury helped take average and OPS. Velasquez had two wins and Strickland the lone hold.

My Isotopes edged past batteries Essential 5-4 in a well-pitched matchup. Sales and Jepsen had two wins each, while Teheran struck out 17 and joined Holland, Leake and Stroman in taking WHIP. Offensively, Frazier knocked in eight, Trout drove home seven and Marte swiped two bases. Castellanos and Lucroy gave batteries Essential the edge in average and OPS, Logan had the lone hold and Cueto, Porcello and King Felix did not allow an earned run as the staff posted a 0.85 ERA in more than 50 innings, which is ridiculously impressive.

Finally, Iron Men and Norwich could not be separated, finishing 6-6. Iron Men had the better of the offense as Pujols homered three times and scored five runs while Cano and Pence each drove in 10 runs and helping take average and OPS. Henderson and Feliz had two holds each. Rizzo, Suarez and Braun each had a steal for Norwich, while Chen won twice and Taijuan Walker led the staff with 15 strikeouts and helped take ERA and WHIP. Tolleson had two saves.
