The British Baseball Federation has announced details about this year’s National Baseball Championships Final 4s weekend.
As has been the case for the last three years, Croydon is set to host what is the big weekend in the British baseball calendar. The championship winners of the National Baseball League, the AAA division, AA division and A division will be decided over the weekend September 6th to 7th.Â
Last year, Croydon was the scene of a serious upset when the home field Pirates saw their perfect regular season record turn to dust, being swept by the London Mets in the final by two games to none. This year, it is the Mets who are on course to go through the National Baseball League – South unbeaten. As Joe posted recently, the Richmond Flames are almost certain to be the team joining the Mets in September and they will be hoping to repeat London’s 2007 trick this time around.
