The just-launched Project Cobb (or the Project for the Chronicling of British Baseball) encourages the recording of baseball in Britain as it happens as well as the exploration and publishing of its history. To this end, Project Cobb publishes a central registry of research projects as well as a list of collaborators.

Why was it started?

The main impetus for Project Cobb was the lack of a unifying place for the various threads of research into the history of baseball in Britain.

Who is it for?

Project Cobb offers a place for researchers into the history of baseball in Britain to publicize their work, but also informs baseball fans with information to share of the best person to contact.

Where can I find out more?

To find out more on this initiative, visit the Project Cobb webpage and follow the Project Cobb blog category on BaseballGB.
