Ridge Bolts 29 10 33 3 0.276 0.851 3 1 34 0 3.72 1.45 5
Pontypridd Pirates 34 5 24 8 0.241 0.727 2 2 39 0 3.24 1.22 6

Finally, the Pirates did just enough to squeeze past the Bolts 6-5, taking four pitching categories thanks to Sale, Feliz and closers League and Balfour. Gordon had four steals and Hamilton clubbed three homers. Eight different players homered for the Bolts, including Swisher, who drove in seven.

Well done to everyone for meeting the 20 inning minimum limit. The high-profile injuries to players such as Brian Wilson and Jacoby Ellsbury will hurt their owners, but maybe a good fix can be found through a trade or a savvy pickup from the free agent pool.

Don’t forget to put injured players on your DL to free up a roster spot for replacements – they could really make a difference in a close matchup, particularly hitters who have a full week of games and starting pitchers due to pitch twice in the same week.
