Lester and Bumgarner pitched well for Margaret’s team, but the offense is injury-ravaged.

Talking of injury-ravaged teams, my Isotopes had six players with DL status by the end of the week but managed to defeat the Pirates 11-1. The Cincinnati duo of Frazier and Ludwick sparked an offensive sweep by slugging seven homers, while Kuroda picked up a pair of wins. Balfour and Cishek took saves for the Pirates.

The Stuff continue their march to the playoffs, defeating the Riverkings 9-3 with a monster power week. Pujols and Dunn each homered four times, while Trout and Bruce each went deep three times. Scherzer was the pick of the starters, while Latos and Peavy joined him in racking up double-digit strikeouts. Heyward and Carlos Gomez helped the Riverkings salvage average and steals, while Clippard and Motte took care of saves.

Hughes picked up a win and helped take ERA and WHIP, while Soriano and Rodney combined for five saves. Fister picked up a win and had 13 strikeouts for the Chasers, while Pestano had the lone hold.

In a basement battle, Bonestalkers defeated daebhid2 8-3. Aybar, Soriano and Ichiro each homered twice, while Jansen had two saves and Quintana had a win and nine strikeouts. Alcides Escobar helped take runs and steals for daebhid2, while Phelps picked up a win and 10 strikeouts.

The Vendors got the better of the Bolts 7-5 in a tight matchup. Fowler helped take runs and steals, while King Felix was easily the pick of the pitchers after his perfecto, unsurprisingly, helped take wins, strikeouts, ERA and WHIP. Incredibly this was the Vendors’ second perfecto of the year, after Matt Cain’s effort. Swisher and Stanton helped the Bolts take four offensive categories, while Chapman recorded the lone save.

The Yankees failed to meet the 20-inning minimum limit, turning what would have been a win against YD33s into a 6-5 loss.
