Finally, the last-placed Sox defeated last week’s leaders 6-5. Miguel Cabrera was a one-man wrecking crew, leading the team with six runs, three homers, six RBIs and a .500 average. Zimmermann had two wins on a thin pitching staff. Norwich had 14 strikeouts from Salazar and three holds from Betances and took ER and WHIP despite it hardly being a vintage week for either side’s pitchers.
Take me out to the brawl-game
Now the punishments have been handed out for the Texas v Toronto brawl, many fantasy managers may have a headache or two if they have players due to miss extended periods of time – although probably not as a big a headache as the one Jose Bautista received. Canny use of bench players could really make a difference over the next few weeks as the players serve their suspensions.
