There were some monster offensive numbers in week 13 of the BaseballGB Fantasy League – but would the team-mates of the red-hot hitters also contribute?

Iron Men picked up a 9-3 win against the Riverkings in a matchup with plenty of offense for both teams. Myers scored six runs, homered twice, knocked in seven and stole three bases while Correa drove in nine runs. Iwakuma won twice, Scherzer helped take ERA and WHIP and Gomez had two saves. The Riverkings had an absolute monster week from Espinosa, who homered five times and knocked in 17, but the team fell an RBI short. Fernandez racked up eight strikeouts.

The Bombers failed to meet the 20-inning minimum limit, helping my Isotopes to a 9-3 win. Marte scored seven runs and joined Trout, who hit .476, in swiping three bases. Wainwright had a win and 12 strikeouts while Stroman helped tale ERA and WHIP. Bryant’s five homers and 10 RBIs helped the Bombers take those categories, while Corey Seager and Rendon helped take OPS.

A pitching sweep helped Norwich defeat Batteries Essential 8-3. Duffy won twice with 16 strikeouts while Fulmer and Salazar did not allow an earned run and helped take WHIP. Five players had multi-homer weeks, including three from Rizzo and two from Franco, who knocked in eight. Carlos Santana and Crawford helped Batteries Essential take average and OPS and joined Cespedes, Cruz and Span in scoring five runs.

The Chasers continued their good run of form to climb above .500 with a 7-4 win against the Maltsters. Donaldson scored 11 runs, hit three homers, knocked in nine and helped take average and OPS. Choo homered three times. Quintana struck out a dozen and Jansen collected three saves. It wasn’t a great week for the pitchers, but Paxton picked up a win and helped take ERA while Estrada made the difference in WHIP.

The Knights suffered a rare defeat as Jesmond ran out 7-5 winners. Dozier hit .400 and knocked in nine, joining Votto and Semien in hitting three homers. Taillon helped take wins and ERA. For the Knights, Price struck out 10, Garcia helped take WHIP, Robertson had two saves and Kinsler scored eight runs.

The Slugs are just one category under .500 after the 7-5 win against the RBIs. Jose Ramirez and harper helped take average, OPS and stole two bases each. Archer struck out 19 while de Grom helped take ERA and WHIP and Herrera had two holds. Morales had a monster week for the RBIs with six runs, four homers and 10 RBIs. Happ won twice and Melancon picked up a pair of saves.

Finally, another close matchup saw the Lollygaggers defeat the Sox 7-5. Becknams ran wild with 12 steals, including three from Revere and Altuve, who also scored eight runs. Both players also helped take average. Kazmir and Wacha each won twice with double-digit strikeouts while K-Rod had three saves. For the Sox, Encarnacion hit three homers, knocked in 10 and helped take OPS. Hellickson helped take ERA and WHIP.
