The normal excitement ahead of the final week of the MLB regular season is understandably muted due to the tragic death of Jose Fernandez.
His child-like enthusiasm for the game was infectious and whilst his loss is a reminder of how trivial results are in baseball in the wider scheme of things, his life demonstrated better than most what a wonderful game baseball is and how we should never take for granted the simple pleasure of enjoying a ballgame.
Teams normally play night-games during the final week to get the crowds in and as a result we only have three early starts this working week before what could be a very dramatic final weekend,
All times are in BST.
