MLB This Week: Catch up with the Brew Crew and more

by Matt Smith

We’ve got early MLB games on three working days out of five this week.

Friday’s early contest is the opener of a double-header between the Tigers and White Sox, so it’s on the later end of the early scale for us at just gone 10 pm.

Wednesday and Thursday are the main days for early action and there are some good potential match-ups in the mix, including a chance to catch the surprisingly competitive (so far) Milwaukee Brewers taking on the Toronto Blue Jays. The game is Wednesday’s MLB.com Free Game, so anyone can watch online via MLB.com

Thursday’s free game is also an early contest, this one bringing us Pittsburgh at Atlanta.

All times are in BST.

nice, it will be good to get a look at berrios on wednesday, an iffy first season but two great starts since his call up from AAA. Twins showing some steel this season and a big 14-7 win with 21 hits in game one.
Then straight on to the diamondbacks game for me as they are not a team ive seen covered on BT this year.

Yes, Berrios clearly has the talent and hopefully the knocks he took last year will turn out to be part of the learning process for him. D-Backs are a team I haven’t caught much of so far this season either, but they certainly look worth watching.

and its 2-0 to the twins overnight, keep thinking that Santana wont keep up his amazing start and he pitches all 9 with just two hits to go 7-2 this year, his second shutout, no stopping him on the road 29 innings with just one earned run! I picked the twins to follow because they had such awful 2016, working out good for me…
